Broad Spectrum vs. Full Spectrum CBD - What's the Difference?

Posted by Jeremy Shutts on

Difference Between Full Spectrum, Broad Spectrum, and Isolate CBD Extracts

The terms 'full spectrum', 'broad spectrum', and 'isolate' are often used in the Hemp CBD industry but many people remain confused as to what the difference actually is. It's pretty simple...

Full spectrum extracts contain the CBD + all other compounds naturally present which creates a solution that is commonly referred to as the "entourage effect".  Broad spectrum extracts contain the CBD + some other compounds naturally present. Isolate extracts contain only CBD + no other compounds naturally present.

While there are varying views on which type of extract is the most beneficial, it is commonly situational. This video breaks all that down into more detail in a simple way to help you really understand what others are talking about.

At UnCanny Wellness, we make broad spectrum CBD so that it is usable for all. We want to assure our customers that all of our products contain less than .03% D9 THC.
