Understanding Water Soluble CBD and Bioavailability

Posted by Jeremy Shutts on

With so much information being thrown around regarding CBD, it has become incredibly hard to get the facts that actually matter.

So, here are two key terms that we think you should know and understand; Bioavailability and Water Soluble CBD.

Bioavailability is the proportion of a drug or other substance which enters the circulation when introduced into the body and is able to have an active effect, in other words it is the amount of a substance that gets absorbed compared to the amount you actually ingested/took. This leads me to the second keyword -

Water Soluble CBD. Commonly, CBD is found as an oil based product mixed with a carrier oil (MCT Oil, Sunflower Oil, ect.) and is highly non bioavailable as the oil is not easily absorbed into your gastrointestinal tract.

Water Soluble CBD on the other hand fixes that problem by breaking it down and makes the CBD highly bioavailable so you can get much more out of your products.

All UnCanny Wellness products are water-soluble and are exceptionally bioavailable. We use broad spectrum, legally grown hemp to ensure consistency and quality.

In this video, UnCanny Wellness Founder, Alex Corren, explains the two keywords in depth and breaks down how our products differ from most on the market. For more info or to purchase your own, visit www.uncannywellness.com.
